Lands and Legends is a free to play online Collectable Card Game (Online TCG) for Facebook platform. At the moment, Lands of Legends only has 1 world open to FB fans. Your goal is to restore order to this war-torn land, of course you are the legend of the game world.

In the world of Lands and Legends, you play as a Lord or Lady of your own country, leading powerful Heroes with various abilities in a quest for world domination.

Three renowned Heroes of Time have appeared before you, and you must choose the Hero that you wish to fight alongside you as your ally to overtake this war-torn world.

You can use Hero Cards to govern your cities and lead your troops to battle. What is more, you can obtain even more Hero Cards upon completing certain objectives or achievements in the game.

There are three factions that you can choose to play:

1, Achilleus was one of the greatest heroes in Greek mythology. He is said to not only have been tall and good-looking, but also a formidable warrior in battle. It is also said that he was invulnerable everywhere except for his heels.

Commanding an army of Spearmen, his troops can tear through enemy Swordsmen and easily hold back Cavalry. However, his troops are weak against long-range attacks from Archers.

2, Siegfried is a legendary hero of Norse mythology. He is known for slaying the dragon Fafnir and gaining invulnerability by bathing in its blood.

With the Cavalry he commands, he can move quickly to defeat enemy Swordsmen and Archers, but this speed can easily be contained by the long spears used by Spearmen.

3 The second king of the united Kingdom of Israel. He was an acclaimed warrior, musician and poet. He is also famous for single-handedly defeating the giant Goliath.

David is a skilled governor and is proficient in using the bow and arrow. His army of Archers can easily defeat enemy Swordsmen and Spearmen, but are weak against charging Cavalry.

Placing a Hero in Your Deck

Well done, well done. Now for your first lesson. First let’s start with learning about the Hero, one of your loyal subjects.

Heroes can help with the development of your empire, as well as lead soldiers to battle. They are the perfect asset for you as an aspiring ruler.

In order to use a Hero, you will need to open the Deck window by pressing the tab at the top. Next, choose one of the Hero Cards you have and press the following button:

I’m sure you have some mighty Heroes with you, do you not?

Place a Hero Card in your Deck and come back to see me.

As you might have noticed when you placed the Hero in the Deck, each Hero has a (Deck) Cost, Unit Type, Intelligence and Attack Power, as well as Defense and Movement Speed associated to him or her.

They also have a special ability known as a Skill. There are many different types of Skills and they have many different effects. If you want to learn more about the skills your Hero has, then click once on your Hero Card from the Deck Panel. You should be able to see the other side of your Hero Card. Skills become more effective on Heroes with higher (Deck) Cost. Try to find the combination that best suits you.

This is my first impression on Lands and Legends, which is remarkably refreshing in terms of its card gameplay, strategy elements, and socializing fun.
