As its name suggests, 3000AD basically lives in a futuristic dimension we can hardly conjure up by any stretch of the imagination. Luckily, our prophet is generous enough to allow us, from time to time, a glimpse into what the future world would actually look like. This time, we are foretold about how an epic space war will soon get triggered off and bring in another ‘Big Bang’ which would all likely make the whole universe topsy-turvy again!

Thanks for the news leak from 3000AD, otherwise we human would be indeed like a lamb to the slaughters, totally in dark about the creeping dangers from the outer-space world. It turns out that far away in the other end of the galaxy, some alien empires are now rising up like the mid-day sun and bloating with the military power is their ambitions to conquer the immense universe, including of course our homeland on Earth.

Based on what our intelligence guys have deciphered, these outlanders have already had everything set up for their big intrusion and they even get the name coined. ‘Galactic Command Online’ is exactly how the on-going military operation is dubbed. Seriously, can you think of any title better revealing their insatiable ambitions than that?

You know how 3000 AD always takes its prophecy seriously and never for once rings false alarms. So when ‘Galactic Command Online’ is presaged, we couldn’t waste a minute on wavering and immediately get everything upgraded to A-level alert. Space fleets are propelled on for test run by military tech men. Mass weaponries are loaded on board and versatile crewmen are recruited to help things out with their own expertise. Even the twelve feuding races have all left their bickering behind and now bonded together for common threats.

So far things work out all pretty that it seems an easy victory is just within reach, isn’t it? Well, I hate to pour cold water on this but it’s not gonna be a smooth space sailing any way. Remember what we face up this time is a horde of aliens that we virtually know nothing about. How will their military forces turn out to be? Are they a bunch of morons who fight with nothing but brutal strength, or well-equipped modern warriors all experts at war tricks? The safest bet is to prepare for all possibilities and deal with things accordingly when the war is finally on.
