The third expansion of massively multiplayer online game World of Warcraft (WOW) Cataclysm brings profund changes in the most massively virtual world. Are you poised to rush for level 85 and play the the secondary profession archeology? Truely, if you are a passionate about something fresh and novel, Cataclysm will definitely satisfy you no matter what needs you are expecting. As blizzard said, they has already added two new races the goblins and the Worgen, embroidering flowers on the existing races.
The lands of the ancient world would end up permanently altering in terms of quests available, Glyph system, stat system, Skills and PvP currency systems. For example, With this expansion, Blizzard is finally making it possible for Wow players to use their flying mounts on the old continents of Azeroth namely the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. New combinations of races / classes will also be available for the players who previously were unable to switch from Tauren to Paladins, Gnomes to Priests, and Undead to Hunters.
It is clear that Blizzard is the best innovative game developer. We noticed that the company has learned a lot from past experiences in discussions of the first two expansions, which has become a guarantee for Blizzard’s future development. We can conclude that World of Warcraft Cataclysm will reach new heights.
During the quests, the landscape is constantly changing. The earthquakes, floods and all technical effects suggest Blizzard has stepped off the traditional way of making the game quests-performing-based. Formerly once you rush into a village and then subsequently accept and perform quest along your ways. All quests start and end in that village, which is particularly full of running back and forth between this town and the wilderness. In Wrath of the Lich King, quests seams scattered across the landscape and if you followed all the quests, you will be automatically teleported from one spot to another. While in WOW Cataclysm, this has been further implemented. Rarely do you get more than ten quests in one place before exploring another outpost, or looking for a missing explorer. Once you are in the new expansion of Cataclysm, you pick up some new quests and have them done before you travel to a new NPC.
This gives you much more ideas and you play as a real hero through a story that makes you feel less like a dumb ginder doing all sorts of unnecessary chores. This approach is not only being applied for the Worgen, but for other areas you will go through later.
The Goblins, the new race of the Horde also has a unique approach. Your personal assistant will quickly show you some guide on how to face the future challenge and even you will be given a car. You carry out some minor jobs here and are preparing for a huge pool party. Why not shop for some valuable items here?
Here comes Cataclysm, The volcano Kezan will soon erupt. The wealthier inhabitants of the island flee home by boat, but it comes in a firefight between the Alliance and the Horde.
Players who opt for Worgen will be presented with violent events and receive one after another plot twist.
Blizzard has thought about every detail and many quests have been modified or even removed, but mostly a lot of new quests were added. Some areas have been completely redesigned, but every quest you do is the same quality as the quests in Northrend. Wanna reach the Level 85 first in World of Warcraft Cataclysm, the ever best mmo? Time to make your trip to the maximum level!Below is a review for our community player:
Its been years since World of Warcraft released, taking the world by storm with its revolutionizing and addicting MMORPG structure. Blizzard retains a reputation for its differentiating approach to expansions when compared to other developers. WOW players have had to wait years in order to receive new fully fledged expansion packs. This has created quite a bit of tension build for the community as limited expansions means more expectations. There’s no doubting the controversies that lay upon these packs. And Cataclysm is only hoarding our hopes. The demand has been high, the anticipations boundless. With both the Burning Crusade and the Wrath of the Lich King being fantastic additions to the core game, has Blizzard succeeded in living up to the hype?
The answer is yes. There’s some kind of intangible it quality that is retained all throughout Cataclysm that doesn’t seem to appear to us in other MMO’s. When the expansion released just yesterday, the excitement boiling up in every bodies veins were boundless. There’s no doubting why, seeing how Cataclysm gives us what we would all expect from an expansion; offering two new races, new zones, a new level cap, new spells, new dungeons, new raids, new quests, flying in Azeroth, new guild additions, and so much more. I entered with extremely high expectations and I’ve come away very satisfied and delightfully surprised with all of these incredible improvements.
The two new races are great additions to the game. The Alliance were given the ferocious Worgen and horde, the abnormally short Goblin. Both of these races are given two new starting zones to introduce them to the world. Each of these areas are different and exceptionally original in their own unique way. We could describe the Goblin area as a very tech orientated one. Goblins being the oh so intelligent race with all that kaja’mite, have invented these wonderful contraptions that are used all around the starting area. The new Goblin highways and mount inventions are wonderful to ride and toy around with. They’re beneficial to your game, so it’s great to see a further use for them rather than just for fun or for forced tasks. The Worgen area is much more gloomy and depressing. It’s a nice twist to see areas go from happy and colourful, to dark and sad. It helps add dimension to our feelings. I felt that it pulled me in more to see something highly relatable to the races in their own environments. It’s also great to learn about the Worgen and Goblin as you begin levelling up. It should be noted that both of these places offer some great cinematic like quests to experience. Blizzard has really learned how to create storyline in their tasks. They actually make you feel like you want to complete them rather than having to. A much more polished starting experience.
The most notable change to WOW is the obvious Cataclysm. Azeroth is a totally different place now, with known areas changed and transformed due to the havoc unleashed upon them by Death wing. The detail here is fantastic and it’s really great to see areas we already have explored with a completely new change. I’ve had moments where I would just stop what I was doing and take a fly to Stranglethorn to witness the new whirlpool just outside of Fort Livingston or the new entrance to Stormwind. It’s very sad to think about all the new World of Warcraft players that never got to experience what the original world was like before the Cataclysm. It really makes you cherish your original memories preceding the upheaval.
There’s of course a new level cap. All the maxed 80 players would be pleased to hear that here are now 5 new levels to reach with new spells to add to your spell book. All this along with new weapons, tiers, and armour to add to your collection and total days played. It’s disappointing thought that the level cap didn’t raise up 10 levels like all the previous expansions. It feels like it decreases our value. But of course, this is just a small thought to mask our primary emotions. There is so much content in Cataclysm it’s insane. This will be lasting strict WOW player a very, very long time.
New graphical effects and areas are also fantastic to look at. Of course, there’s the new Azeroth skin, but locations like Deepholm and Vashj’ir are truly great sights to see. The amount of detail Blizzard has managed to achieve here is exceptional. I must have found myself starring at all of the Nature existing in the depths of Vashj’ir a thousand times. This is all improved upon by the incredible new water and lighting effects. Go ahead. Log in right now if you haven’t already and experience the very realistic looking water. Step in and notice the dribbles, the waves, the reflections, everything. It’s great to see these truly realized additions. Not only this, but the new ray effects are also very realistic. Fly your mount in the direction of the sun and you’ll see small rays peer off of your character. I’ve hardly even seen these in actual console games, so it’s incredible to see them in an MMO. These small additions have made the game a much more immersive, engrossing world and were very welcomed with open arms.
It really is great to see that Blizzard is taking into consideration the demands of the community. With all these new additions, World of Warcraft players will not be disappointed. Returning back to the world has never felt so good, and I have a strong feeling that we’re all going to be sucked back in for a long time to come. Say goodbye to your girlfriend, your family, your friends, and your social life. The dominant MMORPG is back and better than ever.
