Dragonica Online is a free MMORPG that is developed by Korea-based Barunson Interactive and published by a couple of different publishers, but the internationally accepted publisher is THQ that closed its doors to operate the game due to unknown reasons.
However, the game is still live and another publisher called WarpPortal took over the game. That is why the new MMORPG Dragon Saga is out there.
Dragon Saga is a 3D side scrolling adventure MMORPG that mixes RPG, adventure and fun-packed elements. With the colorful graphics, cute charaters, and fun gaming, the game is also deemed as the combo of Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft and Super Mario. With so wide concept cross, you might wonder how Dragon Saga work. Let’s unveil the game below.
The free2play, (F2P) Dragon Saga starts in a very old fashioned way. When creating a new character, you are given a choice of four basic classes (warrior, thief, archer, and magician).
Basically, you can control your characters using arrow keys attack with X and solve with A, S and R of special attacks and combinations. With the easily-learned operation, you will quickly get the hang of how to proceed with your heroes. Jump and run, whatever, play your fingers right now.
For newbies, they may just do some quests and missions like slaying monsters, talking with each other, joining the team, and searching more cheats. But for those experienced gamers, they may crawl the dungeon instances time and time again. Because instancing will not cost you too much time while rewarding you with more experience and bonuses upon your expertise on battling. Although the adventuring is a risk and constantly frustrating, it is immensely motivating with a small hook. Always keep exploring the instances may – either solo or as part of a group, which is a fast way to levelup.
In general, Dragonica is very friendly to solo. However, MMO means massive, multiplayer, online. That is true, when you choose to play MMO, you are ready to team up to adventure. That is not the case in Dragon Saga, you can perform quests along with your Pets that can be bought via shop. The pet looks lovely and cute, not only helping you erase the loneliness, but assisting you in the battle.
Dragon Saga works in a fast-paced, breathless and incredibly motivating way. Admittedly, Dragon Saga is the best free mmorpg, rarity of rarities.

Don’t waste your time. Game is too cash-based, you will have to spend $400+ to keep up with the old players. Also, the servers are dead, only old players are playing.

Wow your retarded kid. The game is not even remotely cash shop dependent. All the old characters from dragonica (Original name when it was under THQ ICE) Almost all of their equips got nerfed. It’s a fun game, especially if you play with a couple friends. The item system (way of obtaining items) kind of reminds me of diablo. also the party quests (AKA mission maps) are a fun way to meet new people to play with as well as a way to quench the ever present thirst to kill boss monsters. Don’t give a review for a game when u either A. Haven’t played it or B. Was so bad at the game you only played for about 30 mins before writing it off.

However xO I am not American ¬¬ … warpcrystal have ip block? Whenever i try to download the client by the GateWay it crashs .. any hints? (sooo… I’m downloading the client by torrent,1.72gb, hope it works >.<)
I’ve been playing this game for awhile and personally I love it, It’s not cash based its just if you want to speed up then you can spend some money, personally I only spent about 12 dollars so far for a few items to make my character awesome but I prefer a one time over 15 a month with something like WoW (which is a great game itself). I can’t wait to see what gravity will be doing going forward wanting to see much more plus all the patches and expansions since it changed to Dragon Saga from Dragonica have been a lot.

Played this game when it first started was very fun, stoped playing for a while and now people said its cash based, so i downloaded the game again, but still very balanced and still fun and good game
It all depends on which version you play.
Right now i reckon the best version is Dragonica sea by IAH
Wow i have been playing Ds since it was released (THQ ice which shifted to warpportal). I must say that it IS a cash based game. At first it was not that much but the gap between old and new players keep and keep on growing wider. I’m personally disgusted with the game. For new comers the graphics and all may be appealing and in fact it is but in the long run you will realise that you have been wasting your time. Even in game money or gold is hardly sufficient to buy market items. Trust me, Dead game is right about his facts, get your facts straight kid.
If you are looking for a competitive atmosphere your welcome. Be awed by the old players who monopolize almost everything.
